My friends Cullen, Marina and Christian invited me to go four-wheeling with them in the desert near the camel racetrack. It is easy to rent some four-wheelers and have then delivered to the exact site you want to ride. Later, they come and pick them up again!
We rode around in the late afternoon and happened upon a cow/camel cemetery. It was just an area in the desert where they dump the dead animals. I guess it makes sense because what else are you going to do with it. But wow - the smell!
