So this is India
Dubai is constantly under construction...so basically my gps is totally inaccurate and I ended up driving around in circles for half an hour trying to find his place. I finally gave up and just went to Sharjah airport. Total drive time: 3hours. Ugh.
Then, after we got to the airport, the computers were down, so they had to check us in manually which took about 2 1/2 hours. We finally boarded our flight and arrived just in time for our tour to start. There was literally no sleep for anyone that night.
Our first stop was the Portuguese Fort Aguada, which was built in 1613 to guard against the Dutch and Marathas, who were famed yeoman warriors and champions of Hinduism. There was a fresh water spring located within the fort that supplied ships that would stop by, which is how Fort Aguada (agua = water) got its name.

After the fort we headed to Calangute Beach - ready for some lunch! We ate at a place called "Brittos". Awesome food!
The food was great: fried baby shark (my favorite), king crab, tiger prawns and different curries (not my favorite)

Din din
By now, we had been up for 36 hours. There was a rave on the beach, but I seriously needed some sleep!
