So much weirdness here, It is best captured in pictures. Here is a typical Thursday (Friday for all you Westerners) afternoon relaxing at the Greek Club's beach, then going for some beers at one of the three (yes three) expat bars and finally a Chinese dinner.
Guess there's no such thing as a "no wake" zone here. About 3 boats got swamped! (you can even see the Biblioteca Alexandria on the left. (click the pic for a close up)
WTF? Looks like a rear-view mirror, but it's really a video player! Who needs a rear-view mirror when you can watch Arabic videos on a little DVD player in its place instead while dodging trams? Love the fuzzy dashboard too! Talk about multi-tasking (click the pic to see up close).
