There was a Walk-a-thon for charity on the Corniche. It began at The Shooting Club near the citadel and went for 13k to the Maritime Hotel. Around 100 people or so showed up for it. I had expected more, but apparently, if you advertise then you have to pay taxes to the government or something. It was a beautiful day, but I pooped out at the 11k checkpoint and made a beeline for the brownies!
