My students at Amideast are great. I was teaching them how to write argumentative essays and I let then choose the topic. They went with: "Who Makes Better Leaders, Men or Women?" After they wrote their essays we conducted a formal debate on the topic. Arguments got pretty heated, but the students did great. They also learned that you can't simply make claims without having examples or evidence to back them up! Congrats kids!
