It sure was nice to get away for the afternoon. Never mind that on our way we were all crammed in a minibus, but this wasn't really the issue. The issue was with our driver and the constant stop-and-go. I was trying so hard not to puke; I almost didn't make it. We passed another min
We finally arrived at Ali's place on the beach. This was the 25th run since the Hash was resurrected here in Alex and I believe there was a record turn out of about 20 people. Ali had a dog that he rescued after it was burned. Two years later and the dog is doing great and even had a cute litter of two week-old puppies. They were too cute. On the way back...had another issue with the van. Our driver was doing about 80 mph, in the dark, with no headlights (this is typical Egyptian-style driving)...and didn't see the giant speed bump. He slammed on the brakes and we still hit it at about 40mph anyway. Yowch! Made it back in one piece though and I'm already looking forward to next week! On on!
