Since Geoff (the guy that runs the Hash) is out of town, and everyone else is either too lazy or too inexpierenced to set the run - we decided to take a stroll on the "Corniche," which is the road that runs along side the Mediterranean Sea. It really is a pain-in-the butt for women or foreigners in general to walk it, because people just constantly harass you. They just like to shout things mostly; it's usually the staple, "Welcome to Egypt," or "What is your name," but it is annoying and makes walking alone extremely unpleasant.
We noticed some kids playing "football" and marvelled at how there are no proper play grounds or places in general for kids to go and play. many of the boys we playing in their holey socks or bare feet because, presumably, they can't afford proper gym shoes.
